Michael D. Weber, PT, DPT, MS, OCS
Michael received his degree in physical therapy from Quinnipiac College in 1983. He then earned an Advanced Masters Degree in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy in 1994 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2002 from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Michael was involved in several research projects while at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, especially that of the treatment of “frozen shoulder”. Michael became recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 1993 as a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and renewed his Board Certification in 2003. Michael was a District Assembly Representative of the American Physical Therapy Association of Massachusetts from 1995 – 1998 and was the Southeastern District Chief Assembly Representative in 1998. He also served on the APTA of MA Executive Board of Directors. Michael was adjunct faculty at Northeastern University School of Physical Therapy from 1992-1993 where he taught Advanced Musculoskeletal Evaluation and Treatment. He has been a speaker at numerous local groups and organizations during his 26 years of clinical practice. Michael was the owner/director of Yarmouth Physical Therapy from 1983 – 1998 and then the New England Director of a national physical therapy organization from 1998 – 2008. Michael and his wife Eileen Cullen Weber, PT opened Physical Therapy In Motion (PTIM) in November of 2008. Outside of his professional responsibilities Michael enjoys playing golf, skiing, and attending college and professional sporting events. Michael and Eileen have three children and a daughter-in-law.
Ashley Katzenback PT
Ashley received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2006 from Sacred Heart University. Immediately upon graduation, she started working in Yarmouth. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University. In addition, Ashley is taking Manual Therapy courses with the University of St. Augustine. Ashley has a strong background in athletics, focusing on injury prevention and agility training. She played Division I Lacrosse at Sacred Heart University. She has a special interest in child wellness and fitness. She has given several lectures at Dennis Yarmouth High School and the Yarmouth Senior Center. Ashley lives with her husband and young daughter in Sandwich. She also finds time to coach youth lacrosse in Sandwich and to run regularly in preparation for marathons.
Donna Vachon PTA
Donna Vachon, PTA brings 20 years of orthopaedic experience to Physical Therapy in Motion. A graduate of Becker College, she has continued her education with numerous courses on subjects such as osteoporosis, foot biomechanics/orthotics, kinesio taping, McConnell taping, and functional exercise. Her experience and education gives her strong manual and clinical skills. Donna lectures to community groups such as the Yarmouth Senior Center on a variety of subjects. Born and raised on Cape Cod, Donna feels a strong tie to the community and brings the utmost professionalism and care to her patients.
Danielle Pitera, PT, DPT earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Quinnipiac University in 2010. Most of Danielle’s internships were in the field of evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and neuromusculoskelatal problems. She also participated in a capstone research project investigating the effects of velocity on EMG values and designed a community based program to address a health disparity as listed in Healthy People 2010. Danielle also enjoys fitness training, leading a healthy lifestyle, and spending time with her dogs.
Kimberly Harris – Business Office Manager
Kimberly has been involved in health care facility billing, A/R collections and office management for 12 years. Kimberly possesses a great deal of knowledge regarding the numerous insurance carriers and their intricacies with billing and collections. Her patient- friendly demeanor and attention to detail allows her to explain one’s insurance and responsibilities in a comprehensive and understanding manner. Kimberly has worked with Michael and Eileen for 10 years and is recognized as an integral part of their team.
